New program partnership with North Attleboro Public Schools

The North Attleboro Public Schools and the Hockomock Area YMCA are collaborating to offer all elementary school students attending North Attleboro public schools the opportunity to enroll in after school STEM and wellness classes through a program initiative called E.A.S.E. (Elementary After School Experience). This first session of E.A.S.E. will pilot at both Community School and Roosevelt School beginning the week of March 5 and will run for 6 weeks.

E.A.S.E. programs are open to any student attending North Attleboro Public Elementary Schools and not limited to students attending Community and Roosevelt Schools. Additional elementary school locations will be included in later sessions. Children do not need to be a Hockomock Area YMCA member to enroll in the E.A.S.E. program.

“We are proud of our long standing partnership with the North Attleboro Public Schools and appreciate Superintendent Holcomb’s vision to expand STEM and wellness offerings to all of his students in the district. We look forward to supporting our community and the students of North Attleboro through the delivery of programs that focus on youth development and healthy living.” said Dan Brennock, North Attleboro Branch Director of the Hockomock Area YMCA.

Registration for the Winter E.A.S.E. Program will run Feb 1-28, 2018. The classes will run March 5 – April 13. Please return payment and registration forms to the Hockomock Area YMCA by February 28, 2018. We are located at 300 Elmwood Street, North Attleboro.

Cost is $65 per program. All supplies are included. If your child is currently enrolled in the Hockomock Area YMCA School’s Out Program, please be sure to check off the appropriate box on the registration form to receive $30 off each E.A.S.E. program.
