FRANKLIN: CAMP & SPORTS DIRECTOR II:
Responsible for the safe operation and instruction of all day camp activities at our Bernon Family Branch in accordance with camp policies, including: promoting the camps to prospective parents, recruiting, training and supervising 50+ part time camp staff members, scheduling of activities, evaluating and coaching staff, managing the parent drop off and pick up system, and evaluation of the program during the post-season. The position is also responsible for developing, organizing, promoting and implementing high quality YMCA youth and adult sports programs, including: pre-school sports classes, school age sports classes and clinics, Youth Basketball, Soccer and T-Ball leagues, and Adult sports leagues and clinics. FRANKLIN: FULL TIME TODDLER TEACHER:
Working with ages 1-2 years 9 months. Will work closely with another co-teacher in the classroom, assisting with curriculum planning, crafts, cooking, and science activities. Expected to change diapers, clean to the Massachusetts standards, communicate daily with families in person, and through daily notes. Must be Infant/Toddler Teacher certified through EEC. FRANKLIN AQUATICS DECK LEADER:
Part time, 10-20 hours; The Deck Leader will manage the safety of the indoor pool, outdoor pool and splash park areas year round, as well as provide direct leadership with the coordination and delivery of aquatics programming, including but not limited to swim tests, swim lessons, family swims and special events. MANSFIELD ARTS & EDUCATION CENTER: COMMUNITY GARDEN COORDINATOR:
This position will oversee operations for the Mansfield Community Garden, a 1 acre community garden project maintained through a partnership between the Hockomock YMCA and the Town of Mansfield. This person will be responsible for growing produce, coordinating a 43 member CSA program, working with garden plot members, and overseeing educational workshops/camp visits. Part time. This position will oversee operations for the Hockomock Area YMCA’s Healthy Food Access Initiative. This includes oversight of operations of the Milford Summer Food Service Program, Cooking Matters program, and the Healthy Food Access Food Drive. This position also works directly with food pantry and community leaders to consult about issues affecting access to healthy food. The person in this position will also work with the Health Innovation leadership team to plan events and manage the Healthy Food Access mini grant process.
