Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy and Chief Development Officer, this position is responsible for daily operations of the data management system for all philanthropic based activities, including relationship management; donor gift input, receipting, and acknowledging; data integrity and knowledge management and reporting.The successful candidate must be extremely comfortable interfacing with detailed information, manipulating data sets and using different reporting and communication formats. DIRECTOR OF INDIVIDUAL GIVING
Reporting to the Vice President for Philanthropy and Chief Development Officer, this position partners with key Association and Branch leaders to effectively manage the annual giving and major gifts programs for the Hockomock Area YMCA, a 30,000+ member Y serving 15 area communities. As part of the development leadership team this position will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts from individuals in the major gifts and annual campaign to support the Association’s strategic goals and initiatives. Qualifications include 4 to 7 years experience in financial development, with a desired focus on individual giving, ability to build strong relationships to support our philanthropic goals. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred with strong communication skills including outstanding verbal and written communication skills is a necessity.
