The Pantry will open for patrons in the coming weeks. We are completing the process of remodeling our space and filling the shelves.
Our Pantry provides groceries and household items to those in need of support.
We offer participants the convenience to book their own shopping appointments as well as offer an open shopping day (Wednesdays only) on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lenore’s Pantry & Market has plenty of free parking spots available.
Access the pantry on the right side of the building.
The building is also home to the North Attleboro Council on Aging, Veteran Affairs and the Health Department. This location is currently accessible by the GATRA Route 10 Bus and is a formal bus stop. For details about the Gatra bus to Lenore’s Pantry, click here.

Clients can choose to shop by Appointment or during our Open Shopping period. We encourage all registered participants to schedule Shopping Appointments. Appointments are scheduled online using the unique scheduling link that is automatically provided during registration.
Each shopping appointment is 15 minutes with a staff/volunteer to assist clients with food selections. (“New Shopper Appointment” is 30 minutes.)
Appointments can be scheduled and cancelled online. Please try and cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Missing 2 or more appointments without cancellation will result in a temporary pause of pantry access.
If a registered client can’t make their appointment, a registered proxy or household member can pick up on their behalf. If you are homebound or face transportation barriers, please reach out to us by phone or email.
If participants cannot schedule an appointment, we also offer Open Shopping hours on Wednesdays.
Participants have access to fresh and frozen produce, meat, dairy and various shelf stable items.
Toiletries, personal care and household cleaning items are available. Staff and volunteers will provide guidance on quantities to ensure everyone has access based on inventory.
All our new shoppers will schedule a “New Shopper Appointment” which is 30 minutes to allow extra time to tour the pantry, print a shopper scan card and complete registration.
When setting up your first appointment, please select the “New Shopper Appointment option.”
Lenore’s Pantry has been a cornerstone of compassion in North Attleborough for more than four decades. Named in honor of the late Lenore Paquin, the Town’s beloved Public Health Nurse, the pantry began humbly in 1978—just a small closet in the Health Department on North Washington Street. Lenore saw a growing need in her community and responded with care, dignity, and action. What started as serving 35 families has grown to supporting more than 120 households each month. Over the years, the pantry found new homes—from the Board of Health’s kitchen, where it became known as “Lenore’s Kitchen,” to Town Hall, where the name officially became Lenore’s Pantry after her retirement in 1999.
For 47 years, the pantry has been sustained entirely by the generosity of local residents, businesses, churches, and civic groups. This spirit of giving ensures that Lenore’s vision lives on. Today, Lenore’s legacy continues to grow at the pantry’s new home on Elm Street, through a partnership between the Town of North Attleborough and the Hockomock Area YMCA. The pantry will be operated by the Hockomock Area YMCA, a non-profit dedicated to strengthening community and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive and be welcome.
Lenore dedicated 27 years of her life as a public health nurse to caring for this community—and her dedication shines brighter than ever as the pantry & market evolves to meet the needs of our neighbors with dignity, hope, and compassion.
We welcome donations of shelf-stable pantry products, snacks, and personal hygiene products.
Your financial support directly impacts the lives of children and families right in your own community.
Our pantry depends on volunteers to help with tasks like stocking shelves and assisting visitors.
Donations are accepted at Lenore’s Pantry & Market during operating hours and Mondays 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Donations can also be delivered to our lobbies at any Hockomock Area YMCA branch.
We encourage the following non-perishable items: Condiments (I.e. jelly and syrup), cereal, crackers, family snacks, household items (I.e. cleaning products and kitchen trash bags), toiletries (I.e. toilet paper and tissues).
Please do not donate expired or perishable items.
