Theatre Production Camp

Throughout the course of this 3-week session, theatre campers work together to produce, rehearse and perform a musical.

We begin each day with a warm-up and game, then spend mornings learning choreography, music, and scenes of the musical. After lunch, campers rotate between outdoor play activities and additional rehearsal time.

This camp does require additional dress rehearsals on Saturday morning of each performance weekend and will have 2 performances. Our daily camp will take place at our Mansfield Arts YMCA at 40 Balcom Street. Location for performances will be announced.

Descendants Description: Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films! Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost (home of the most infamous villains who ever lived) the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, including the soon-to-be coronated son of Belle and the Beast, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?
