ABOUT THE HOCKOMOCK AREA YMCA TRIATHLON
This Sprint triathlon returns for an anticipated hugely successful event.  Designed to work for beginners as well as advanced triathletes.  Athletes ages 14 and older are eligible.  All finishers will win a medal.  Top 3, male and female per category, will also be recognized with place medals.

Great park venue, with all proceeds benefiting the Reach Out to Youth and Families Program at the Hockomock YMCA.  Race begins at pristine park setting and will have you enjoying picturesque New England landscapes through quaint Wrentham Center.  Bike and run provide moderate hills. The grass transition area is centrally located and easily accessed; each participant will enjoy roomy and secure space.

DISTANCE
1/4 mile SWIM, 9 mile BIKE, 3.1 mile RUN

START TIME
8:00am EST - This will be wave start from the water's edge

FIELD LIMIT
400 individuals

ENTRY FEES
Individuals: $75 through 6/30/13 (plus $12 fee if not a USAT member); $80 Registration beginning 7/1/13
Relay teams: $145 through 6/30/13; $155 Registration beginning 7/1/13

Please note, online registration closes on Thursday, July 18th. You may register by calling Michael at 508.643.5225 until Saturday, 7/20 at noon. After that time, registration is available beginning at 6:00am day of event - Sunday, 7/21.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it | 508.944.5138.  All athletes must present a valid, current USAT annual membership at packet pick-up OR purchase a 1-day USAT license at packet pick-up for $15.  If you forget your card, you will be required to purchase a 1-day USAT license.   No exceptions!

Athletes can be penalized for drafting, blocking, crossing the centerline, use of headphones among other violations.  Be sure to review current rules at: www.USATriathlon.org

REFUNDS, TRANSERS, CANCELLATIONS
The Hockomock Area YMCA Triathlon has a NO REFUND Policy.  Be certain that you can race before registering.  No transfers between athletes, events, or the following year's events are permitted.  In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to shorten, alter, or cancel any portion of this race.  In that case, there will be no refunds.

EVENT CHECK-IN, PACKET PICKUP
Pre-pickup to take place on Saturday, July 20 from 4-7pm at the Invensys Foxboro branch of the Hockomock Area YMCA, 67 Mechanic Street, Foxboro, MA | 508.543.2523.  Day of check-in will take place at the event, from 6:00 - 7:45am.

CATEGORIES/AGE GROUPS
Age Groups (Male & Female): 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34....
Clydesdale (Male 220+ lbs)
Athena (Female 165+)
Relay Teams (Male, Female, Mixed): 2 or 3 person teams allowed
Finishers medals will be awarded to everyone who completes the Hockomock Area YMCA Triathlon!

WETSUITS
Announcement on wetsuit policy will be made on race day by the race director.  Wetsuits will not be made mandatory, but it is suggested that wetsuit owners bring one to the event.

DISQUALIFICATION
Per USA Triathlon rules: use of iPod, MP3 player, headphones, radio or the like will result in disqualification.
