OUR CAUSE:
STRENGTHENING THE FOUNDATIONS OF COMMUNITY<\/h3>\r\n

As a Y community, we strive to inspire purpose in living our lives to the fullest. Through our focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, we embrace and nurture the promise and purpose that lies in all of us.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Hockomock Area YMCA is a not-for-profit charitable community service organization of men, women, and children of all ages, ethnic origins, religious affiliations, and socioeconomic levels united in a common effort to positively influence the quality of life of its members, families, and communities. Based on the foundation of Judeo-Christian values, our programs and activities emphasize the development of the whole person in spirit, mind, and body and are available to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That\u2019s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors and community partners to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive in the 15 communities we are privileged to serve.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We\u2019re an inclusive organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility.<\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n
