COMMUNITY GARDENS

Our community garden provides fresh, high-quality vegetables while bringing people together in a community project, not only for local families but also the YMCA's Healthy Food Access Initiative.

EAT. GROW. THRIVE

The Mansfield Community Garden is a partnership between the Hockomock Area YMCA and the Town of Mansfield. The mission of this project is to educate and involve the community in learning about fresh produce, and to promote healthy and active lifestyles through reconnecting individuals to the food they eat and grow.

We are located across the street from 386 Essex St in Mansfield and offer a CSA Share program for those interested in purchasing locally grown and freshly harvested organic produce weekly. We abstain from using pesticides and chemical fertilizers and follow organic practices.

We also offer community plot rentals and educational workshops throughout the season. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with all elements of the project. Please contact communitygarden@hockymca.org for more information on volunteer opportunities and other ways to get involved.

CSA SHARE 2017

Due to the unpredictability of the growing season, varieties and quantities of vegetables may vary.
