WELLNESS & RECREATION CENTERS<\/h3>\r\n

In order to support wellness for all ages and abilities, we provide a variety of options for both indoor and outdoor activities. Our facilities include group fitness rooms, personal exercise areas, sports fields and courts. We encourage every member to take advantage of our Free Fitness Orientation, which is a one-on-one introduction to our wellness areas, so that everyone knows how to use the equipment properly.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

FITNESS CENTER<\/h4>\r\n

Our state of the art fitness center includes cardio and weight equipment to ensure you reach your fitness goals. Cardio machines include treadmills, ellipticals, and stair climbers. Most of our cardio equipment now has the Matrix 7i technology system, which members can use to personalize their wellness journey, using our workout tracking network inside and outside the Y to help reach their goals.<\/p>\r\n

The center is also equipped with free weights and weight machines designed to target individual muscle groups to ensure you get the most out of your workout.<\/p>\r\n

YMCA Wellness staff are on duty in the fitness center to provide support and information. We provide a Free Fitness Orientation for those unfamiliar with wellness equipment. Our staff can explain how to use the equipment or help make adjustments for comfort and safety.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

LEE ROBBINS MEMORIAL GYMNASIUM<\/h4>\r\n

Our gymnasium is built with genuine hardwood floors and comes equipped with six baskets and three full-size basketball courts with basketballs available for member use. The gymnasium can also be used to house the gymnastics equipment for our classes and competitive teams.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

INDOOR TRACK<\/h4>\r\n

Overlooking the gymnasium is our indoor track with calculated mile distances so you can time yourself and strive for a performance challenge or simply enjoy a light jog. Across from the track is also the Functional Fitness Area, which allows for easy crosstraining.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS AREA<\/h4>\r\n

Suspension training uses a person’s own body weight to provide resistance, using padded straps and loops which are anchored to the walls or ceiling. Our MoveStrong Nova system provides a full-featured suspension training experience. The Functional Fitness Area is set up across from the indoor running track.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

MULTI-PURPOSE ROOMS<\/h4>\r\n

The facility includes an upstairs multi-purpose rooms for birthday parties, community meetings, and group exercise classes, from spin class and yoga to total body conditioning and Zumba. Our first floor fitness studio is also used for a variety of purposes, including dance classes and kick boxing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

OUTDOOR PLAYGROUNDS AND SPORTS FIELDS<\/h4>\r\n

Outdoor facilities include an outdoor playground as well as basketball courts and a softball field for recreational use as well as use within more organized Y sports leagues and camps.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

ROPES COURSE<\/h4>\r\n

Managed by our Outdoor Education Department, the onsite ropes course contains low elements perfect for team ice breakers and high course elements. Open by appointment 9am to dusk.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

AQUATICS CENTERS<\/h3>\r\n

Our aquatics centers are designed for exercise as well as family fun. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times to ensure the highest safety standards.<\/p>\r\n

INDOOR POOL<\/h4>\r\n

Equipped with a 25 meter length swimming pool with dividers for lap swimming as well as swimming lessons. Indoor pool area includes a whirlpool and sauna for adults to enjoy.<\/p>\r\n

OUTDOOR POOL<\/h4>\r\n

The Outdoor Pool is a fun, family-centered place to meet, lounge, swim, socialize, and dinner or a snack with family and friends. Enjoy the large main pool and lap swim lanes\u2014then take a break in the ample shaded areas and at the picnic tables or our playground and splash park. Outdoor Pool activities include a member barbecue and staffed programs for kids. Open seasonally.<\/p>\r\n

ROCKLAND TRUST FAMILY SPLASH PARK<\/h4>\r\n

Our Splash Park is the perfect place to cool off in summer. Kids simply love the splash playground’s water sprays and bucket drop. The park’s water slides and pool are perfect summer place for families. Open Seasonally.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

The facilities include male and female locker rooms as well as a family locker room, each with bathrooms, showers, and diaper changing stations.<\/p>\r\n

FAMILY FRIENDLY<\/h4>\r\n

Our Y is designed for families, providing space and restrooms that accommodate all ages.<\/p>\r\n

BABY CHANGING STATIONS<\/h4>\r\n

For the convenience of moms and dads, baby changing tables are located in our restrooms, as well as the family locker room. <\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

FAMILY & TEEN CENTERS<\/h3>\r\n

GARELICK EARLY LEARNING CENTER<\/h4>\r\n

Our Early Learning Center provides children with developmentally appropriate educational experiences in a safe, stimulating setting. The center has two universal pre-k classrooms, and space for infant and toddler care. We provide part and full time child care for infants through pre-K.<\/p>\r\n

Y WORLD OF TOTS NURSERY SCHOOL<\/h4>\r\n

Our part-day preschool offers families a traditional Preschool program enriched with a focus on character development, available 2, 3, or 5 days during the school year.<\/p>\r\n

CHILD CARE\/KIDS CLUB AREA<\/h4>\r\n

Our complimentary child watch area allows members to enjoy their workout for up to two hours while their children stay in a fun, engaging, and supervised setting. There is a small fee for non family-type members.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

ROBBINS FAMILY KIDS GYM<\/h4>\r\n

An indoor play area built for preschoolers, the Kids Gym is the perfect place for small children to climb, explore and adventure. This parent\/guardian-supervised area is available typically before 9:30am and during the week after lunch. Not only is our Kids Gym good for the kids, it\u2019s a fun place for families to connect. Renovated in 2016 with a generous gift from the Robbins Family.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

COMMUNITY & SOCIAL SPACES<\/h3>\r\n

In an effort to build community at the Y, we organize a number of spaces where people can gather and hang out together. Our Lobby contains comfortable seating areas, including tables and chairs that are great for grabbing a coffee or meeting with friends. Throughout our Y, we provide free Wi-Fi.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n
