In a Sports Sampler, we introduce children to a variety of sports-related activities, while encouraging healthy attitudes about play.<\/p>\r\n\r\n  <h3>Allstar Kid Sport<\/h3>\r\n  <p>Soccer, T-ball, Basketball, Pillow Polo\/Floor Hockey &#8211; &#8211; sample theses sports offerings at our Y and get in the game.  Build skills, make new friends, be active with other kids and learn to love a sport at the Y.<\/p>\r\n  <p>We divide kids into age-appropriate groups for the Allstar series:<\/p>\r\n  <ul>\r\n    <li>Allstar Kid Sport (Ages 2 only, a parent-child class)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Allstar Kid Sport (Ages 3-4)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Allstar Kid Sport (Ages 4-5)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Allstar Kid Sport (Ages 5-6)<\/li>\r\n  <\/ul>\r\n  <p>Note: Allstar Kid Sport Ages 2 only is a parent and child class that explores the basics of a different sport each week with an emphasis on listening, following directions, fun and learning while developing basic skills.<\/p>\r\n  <div class=\"register-link clearfix\">\r\n    <p>Available Seasonally <a href=\"https:\/\/operations.daxko.com\/Online\/5192\/ProgramsV2\/Search.mvc?location_ids=B564&#038;keywords=kid&nbsp;sport\" class=\"btn btn-primary pull-right\" target=\"_blank\">Register<\/a><\/p>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"program-block back-purple-3\">\r\n  <h4>Sports Explosion<\/h4>\r\n  <p>Ages 7-11<\/p>\r\n  <p>Flag Football, Dodgeball, Gatorball, Ultimate Frisbee and more &#8211; &#8211; Children will become active while participating in traditional and nontraditional sports activities while learning sportsmanship, team work and self confidence.<\/p>\r\n  <div class=\"register-link clearfix\">\r\n    <p>Available Seasonally <a href=\"https:\/\/operations.daxko.com\/Online\/5192\/ProgramsV2\/Search.mvc?location_ids=B564&amp;keywords=sport\" class=\"btn btn-primary pull-right\" target=\"_blank\">Register<\/a><\/p>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Kids need opportunities to try new things, explore and test new abilities\u2013just for fun.
