As your world grows more complex, outside demands on your time increase, Family First gives you the chance to pass along the values you hold most important. At the Hockomock Area YMCA, we give families the time and the place to gather together as a Family through Family First, a program aimed at strengthening Family ties

In Franklin, Family First runs Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in the community room on the second floor.  Family dining is from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., and program activities are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Our menus offer three choices, including a kid-friendly entree, a full salad bar, and a dessert. Activities include storytelling, arts and crafts, game nights, puppet shows, performances, monthly movie nights, and more. Monthly meal and activity menus are available at the Member Service Desk. For newcomers: your first meal is free!

If you're looking for a place where your 6-10-year-olds can hang out while you work out, then Kids' Club may be the answer. Kids can play board games, surf the Internet, or get creative with arts and crafts while socializing with others their own age. Kids' Club is available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. During school holidays and vacation weeks Kids Club runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

In North Attleboro, Family First nights run Wednesdays and Fridays on the lower level of the Child Care Building. Family dining is from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m., and program activities run from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. The program features a healthy, well-balanced meal, and activities that will engage the entire family, including arts and crafts, family open swim time, movie nights, sports, theme nights, and more. Join us each month for family trivia, family game night, and a flick-and-float movie in the pool.

Family First to-go meals are available. Call to place your order by 1:00 and pick up a delicious and nutritious fresh meal at 6:00 p.m. The to-go phone line is 508-695-7001, x182.
