Strata Bank Kids Count Mini Grant Board
Civic-minded high school students are in need to serve on the Strata Bank Kids Count Mini Grant Board.
The Board was established in December of 2004 to help support local community groups and organizations that provide structured youth educational and mentoring programs. Applications from qualified organizations are accepted on a rolling basis and awards are granted by the board. Recipients will receive mini-grants of up to $500.00 each that will be provided through Strata Bank’s Kids Count Program once approved by the Kids Count Board.
“The Kids Count Mini Grant Board provides students with firsthand boardroom experience,” said Bartt Pinchuck. “ Whether they choose a career in the corporate or nonprofit sector, they will be well prepared for some of the challenges that lay ahead.”
“The students bring amazing energy and enthusiasm to this task. They are excited to have the power to select these grant recipients,” said Strata Bank President Pam Montpelier.
Grant applications for eligible organizations are available by clicking the application on the right.
