100% Membership Satisfaction:  GUARANTEED!

At the Hockomock Area YMCA member service is our top priority.  We are committed to being a preferred, quality provider in all programs and services in our defined service area.  If you have a comment, question or concern please request a Member Comment Card, an Action Needed Form at any of our Member Service Desks, or click here to email our staff.  We pledge to provide our members with an appropriate response in a timely manner.  We are so proud of our staff and our programs that your satisfaction is guaranteed or a refund will be issued.

Joiner’s Fee
All new members are charged a joiner's fee. Funds from joiner's fees are deposited into the Capital Improvement Fund and used for facility maintenance. All existing members must renew within 30 days after membership expiration (see below for reinstatement fee information).

Reinstatement Fee
Because we appreciate our members' continued loyalty, members who are rejoining more than 30 days after, but less than one year from their lapsed membership date will pay only a reinstatement fee of $25 instead of paying the joiner's fee.

Day Passes
Persons wishing to try out the YMCA may purchase a day pass at any Member Service Desk.  There is a limit of six day passes a year per person for adults 18 years of age and older.  A photo ID is required.  The fee for a day pass is $5 for persons of high school age or younger, $8 a day for senior citizens, $10 a day for persons between 18 and 62 years old, and $15 a day for a family.

Program Registration
Only MEMBERS may register online at www.hockymca.org, or at any Member Service Desk.  Program Members must register at the Member Service Desks only.  After registering for a program, persons may change their class registration plans by either transferring to another class or canceling their registration altogether.

Program Transfer Policy
Persons who have registered for a class who decide to cancel that class registration and sign up for a substitute class may do so upon payment of a $10 transfer fee.  At the discretion of the Director, if the person is transferring due to improper placement of proficiency level, a transfer fee will not be charged.

Program Refund Policy
After a person registers for a class, refunds in full are only granted if the YMCA cancels the class.  If the person registered for a class completes a refund/credit form, in person, at any Member Service Desk, at least seven days prior to the first class session, he/she will receive a credit for the cost of that class registration minus a $10 holding fee.  Following the same procedure, persons wishing to cancel their class registration prior to the second week of the session will receive a 50% credit minus a $10 holding fee.  No refunds are issued after the start of the second week of the session.

Insufficient Funds Policy
In the case that a member’s personal check or bank draft is returned to the YMCA for any reason, a $20 processing fee will be charged to the member.

Locker Rooms
Members are required to provide their own locks for daily use and to refrain from bringing cell phones into the locker rooms.  Also, please be careful not to leave valuables unattended in the facilities.
