HOCKOMOCK AREA YMCA: IPAD INSTRUCTOR: The part-time iPad instructor will implement iPad curriculum during after school programming. Curriculum will include iPad resources, educational apps, and projects to be created on the iPad. FRANKLIN & NORTH ATTLEBORO: ROPES COURSE: A unique opportunity for individuals to share their passion for adventure, climbing and camaraderie

*Ropes Course Specialist- Responsibilities include overseeing the safe operations of the ropes course facilities; management of groups of up to 20 youth; ensure course is operating in conjunction with standard operating procedures and safety standards; setting up and taking down the course on a daily basis; storing of equipment and maintaining appropriate records. Practitioner Level 1 Certification (ACCT) preferred.

*Ropes Course Solo Facilitator-A solo facilitator is one who, with the agreement of both the facilitator and the Director of Outdoor Education, is able to conduct a low and high course program without direct supervision by another more qualified solo facilitator or lead facilitator.  Requires a minimum of 20 hours training in Challenge Course Facilitation.  Director of Outdoor Education must approve training. Practitioner Level 1 Certification (ACCT) preferred.

*Ropes Course Facilitator Trainee- A Facilitator Trainee will lead cooperative group games and facilitate low ropes elements under the supervision of a solo facilitator

*All Ropes Course postions require the following: Successful completion of CPR and Standard First Aid Training, valid drivers license, ability to lift and carry 35 pounds, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.  Please send resume to Cody Albright at codya@hockymca.org

BERNON FAMILY BRANCH, FRANKLIN:

FRANKLIN BRANCH: BRANCH ASSISTANT: Branch Assistant will provide basic project and office support as needed for the Bernon Family Branch and its Executive Director. Duties may include basic project support for program directors, information gathering and reporting, meeting scheduling and set up, office supply ordering and inventory management, preparation of expense reports, mail sorting, liaison with some vendors and internal "customers," and basic maintenance of office equipment (fax, copier, etc.). The Branch Assistant acts as branch liaison for the annual Giving Tree program, and promotes and participates in the branch's special events as requested. Serves as back up support for front desk as needed. This role requires 10 dedicated hours per week, typically between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM from Monday – Friday, with the exception of branch special events held at night or on weekends.  Please send resume to Scott Martin at scottm@hockymca.org

FRANKLIN BRANCH: GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTORS: Candidates must be knowledgeable, and enthusiastic as well as possess a nationally accredited group exercise certification. Must be able to work within a team of instructors and have the passion to keep up with our ever changing industry. Classes currently in need of instructors are, but not limited to, Bolly X, Boot Camp type classes (both high and low impact), and Kickboxing-style classes.
