Membership Policies & FAQ
100% Membership Satisfaction: GUARANTEED!
At the Hockomock Area YMCA member service is our top priority. We are committed to being a preferred, quality provider in all programs and services in our defined service area. If you have a comment, question or concern please request a Member Comment Card at any of our Member Service Desks or contact your branch Member Experience Director (listed to the right). We pledge to provide our members with an appropriate response in a timely manner. We are so proud of our staff and our programs that your satisfaction is guaranteed or a refund will be issued.
All new members are charged a joiner's fee. Funds from joiner's fees are deposited into the Capital Improvement Fund and used for facility maintenance. All existing members must renew within 30 days after membership expiration (see below for reinstatement fee information).
Because we appreciate our members' continued loyalty, members who are rejoining more than 30 days after, but less than one year from their lapsed membership date will pay only a reinstatement fee of $25 instead of paying the joiner's fee.
