Healthy Futures at Hockomock Area YMCA

Healthy_Futures_Logo_cmyk_copyIn the spirit of community involvement & guided by the YMCA's Activate America Initiative, Healthy Futures addresses the epidemic of childhood obesity through a collective community response.

Our Healthy Futures Initiative is our Y’s commitment to reduce inactivity and poor nutrition in the fifteen communities we serve through programs, projects and policies. Driven by the leading
principles of our Leadership Council, our local community-driven task forces develop community action plans focused on schools, workplace and the community-at-large. Healthy Futures incorporates prevention and intervention based strategies to ensure we are supporting all youth and families in our communities.
