Why volunteer?
The Hockomock Area YMCA is an organization that relies upon and appreciates its volunteers. With the help of volunteers, we are able to offer a wider variety of programs and services to the members of our community. Our mission is to strengthen the communities in which we live and the families and individuals that we serve. We welcome and encourage our volunteers to help us in this important endeavor.
Who volunteers?
Last year, 800 people gave hours of their time and talents to improve the well being of children and adults in our community. What they give of themselves is returned in heartwarming and often unexpected ways. Flexible hours are available to fit any schedule.
